Why are core values important?

Core values are the guiding principles that dictate behavior and action within a company. Why are they important in the event industry?

​As event professionals, we are in the people business - whether it's providing servers for a caterer at a New York City wedding, venue operators for Brooklyn event spaces, or cooks for back of house kitchen prep in Long Island City, just to name a few.  Who we hire and who we provide for our clients' events is the base of our business. Our staff members represent our values, so if our clients are happy and our clients' guests are happy, then we have succeeded in achieving our ultimate goal!
